Based on the playing of Sonny Osborne on the album "Down Yonder". Sonny's use of the backward roll in the first several measures of the verse gives it an interesting "twist". I was so used to playing it the conventional way, it took me a while to get the timing right using the backward roll where melody notes fall on the upbeat instead of the downbeat.
