Jingle Bells (AKA One Horse Open Sleigh) was composed by J. Piermont in 1857. I have made an attempt to show how the tune may have been played on the banjo around 1880-1890 during the socalled classic banjo era. Its played in the classic banjo style or "guitar style" that is based on the use of three (sometimes four finger).
