I'm trying to play Hans Holzer's arrangement of Grandfather's Clock on 5-string banjo (key of G). In the 3rd break, the tab includes flat and sharp signs next to open-string notes (G and B). Many of the open G notes are labeled with 1 flat sign (b). The open B notes are labeled with 1 or 2 flat signs (b or bb), or one sharp symbol (#). I've been googling for a half hour, but can't find any information about what this means.
There is a note above the open-B# note that says "bend 2nd string behind nut." I googled this, too, but could only find information about how to do this on electric guitar.
If anyone could help me understand how to interpret/play these these open-string flat and sharp notes, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
