Does anyone know of the technique referred to as triple picking ?I am referring to this picking as such ( triple picking ) , but I may have used the wrong title for it.This appears or sounds to be mainly a right hand technique although one does have to be pretty accurate and speedy in the fretting of the chord that you play also, especially if there are multiple triples in a row. This is not a real common technique , so I expect that there is a good degree of difficulty involved to correctly play a triple . Larry McNeely used this technique in the ending of Shuckin the Corn when he was the National Banjo Champ years ago. There is also a video of him on youtube with Lyne Hargrove and Mike Chzanowski playing Sailors Hornpipe where he plays the same ending . Watch this and you will hear what I am talking about. Both Alison Brown , and Bela Fleck use this nimble fingered technique in songs pretty much where ever or whenever they want a special sort of trick sound or effect. How is this technique played and is there a tab for this available? Hope someone has some ideas here or information Thanks Tom
