Hey All - by way of a brief background I'm a modest beginner banjo player with about 1.5 years under my belt. I was a bit stubborn at first and didn't think I needed finger picks but finally started using them about 8 months ago. I like the traditional bluegrass songs but grew up listening to 60s, 70s and 80s classic rock and am a deadhead at heart. And while I like some of the bluegrass songs I can't always relate to them and more importantly don't know really know how they are supposed to sound and I definitely don't know the words. Here is my play list at the moment; Cripple Creek - various, Banjo in the Hollow - various, You are my Sunshine - Rick McKeon, Rocky Top - Rick McKeon, Rollin in My Sweet Baby's Arms - Geoff Howald, Dixie - Tom Arri, Blackberry Blossom - Banjo Ben and Goin Down the Road - Hal Leoanrd. I struggle with songs with a lot of 4 finger chords but can mix one in once in a while and realize that I need to practice doing this. I've search high and low for a tab of a song by the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, CSN, CCR, etc etc etc, that is in that beginner to lower end intermediate range but can't find anything. If anyone has a tab of a good rock song in the difficulty range of Blackberry Blosson by Banjo Ben please let me know. Not only would I be grateful but my kids and girlfriend would as well as I'm sure they are sick of hearing the above referenced tunes over and over.
