New Camptown Races - Mike Munford version (posted, not request)

Just posted my transcription of Mike Munford's solo on New Camptown Races from the Frank Wakefield CD Ownself Blues.

Worked it out with the help of the 30-day trial version of Transcribe! software. The slow-down feature plays very clearly. And it's easy to play from exactly the point you want and to select and loop sections as short as a single note.  That really helped me isolate notes in a way that I never could before (using Apple's Quicktime 7 Pro).   Transcribe! also has a note guessing feature and an on-screen keyboard to help in identifying notes.  I think it will be worth paying for.

All of this means that I'm pretty confident in the accuracy of the notes. The fingerings are probably right, but it's always possible Mike's getting some of the notes in ways I didn't consider. The II chord passage in the B part at measures 22-24 is particularly tricky. It has sort notes that sound weird of you play too slow and ends on a slide that's hard to finger because of its starting fret. I'll probably end up not actually playing it this way. But I tabbed it this way for the sake of what I think is accuracy.

Enjoy.
