I did not find this issue discussed earlier but let me know if I'm wrong.
Let's say that I am writing a tab of a tune in gCGCD tuning using Guitar Pro 6.
I add 0 on the 5th string line and when I play the tab in Guitar Pro it sounds like it should: an open g note.
BUT if I fret g# on the 5th string it'd seem logical to put number 6 on the 5th string line like I do when I use pencil and paper for tabbing
What happens? The GP6 sound file plays the 5 + 6 = 11th note c# which sounds terrible. (see picture)
Is there something I could do in the settings? Am I doing something wrong?
I know that I can fool the tab numbers by tuning the high g down to d but then the tuning in the beginning of the tab also changes to dCGCD which is annoying, again.
Anyone else having the same problem?
