Good Morning everyone! I've petitioned advice before and it was very helpful. I've been asked to implement the Banjo into a "praise and worship" song at our church. The name of the song is "Shout Hosanna" (in the Key of A). It's a relatively easy song that I have played before with the mandolin. But since the banjo is my instrument of choice, I've petitioned our worship leader to let me implement the banjo more into our services. Well, now he's given me the opportunity and I can't get this to sound right! Slightly embarrassed and starting to feel the pressure, I was hoping someone could help me out with some sort of arrangement or at least some "rolls". The chords are pretty much A, D, F#m7. There's an instrumental part that is E, D2, and A. Other than that, it's a real simple song, I just am struggling putting the banjo into it and making it sound good! Any advice or help is GREATLY appreciated. By the way, today I celebrate my first day of retirement! I'm looking forward to picking 'til my fingers bleed! Life is GOOOOOOD!
