I was looking for a good version of Bells of St. Mary's to learn from, and I found a GREAT version, done by John Apfelthaler.You will be hard pressed to find a banjo player who plays as clean as this man. If you haven't checked out his Youtube videos, do yourself a favor and do so.
I have tabbed out his first break (sans the pick up kick off notes). He does 4 breaks all together and I plan on tabbing it all out. I think I got it 99.9% as John is playing it.Im adding a link to the video on here too.
As for the two-chords-per-measure at the end of the break, I just put down chords that sounded right to me.(even thought of replacing the C after the Bm chord with an Em.)
Anyway Kudos to John for a wonderful job on this.
