This morning a customer of my web site, sent me a note that he likes the iPad and the TEFView app on it, although he feels it needs some tweaking to make it more user-friendly...
The thing that struck me here... that I thought might be useful to the BHO folks... is that he mentions that the app will convert guitar tab to banjo tab...
Of course, it not's perfect, but he, as a banjo student, knows enough about his instrument that he can make the needed adjustments, to make the 'now converted tab' work on his banjo.
Different folks continually, but intermittently, post inquiries about 'converting guitar tabs to banjo tabs'...
Looks like we have a start here...

You’ll love the iPad. The TEFVIEW app is not particularly user friendly. You have to figure things out for yourself. One thing I like about it is that it transposes guitar tab into banjo tab. It doesn’t get it completely correct but it tries. For example it has installed in the app a selection of jigs and reels. The lark in the morning banjo version tab calls for a note on the first string that really should be the open 5th string etc.
