Tabledit 3.0 Anomaly?

I recently downloaded and installed a recent version of Tabledit (V3.0 a1e).

The software successfully loads any of my tablatures that were created with the previous version. Then, if I make a change to one of those tablatures that was created with the older version of the software, I get a dialog box advising me that after I save the file with the new version of the software, it cannot be opened with an older version of the software.

However, If, after saving that file, lets call it Tab-1, I open another tablature, lets call it Tab-2 and then I select File/Reopen and I re-open Tab-1, I get a blank tablature. If I then select File/Reopen again, and re-open Tab-1, I get the correct Tab-1 tablature that was previously saved. The first time I encountered this, I freaked out because I thought I had lost the saved Tab-1 tablature.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and If Matthieu with Tabledit is lurking, perhaps he could comment.
