I have only been learning to play Banjo for about 6 months now , learning all my songs from tabs and I'm starting to get a little puzzled by the fact that Tabs don't allways seem to be EXACTLY right??? Or maybe it's just me.
Example: If I play the same song with the same tabs on my Open Back Banjo without picks and then on My Resonator Bluegrass Banjo with Picks it just dosen't allways sound like the tabs are right for one or the other.
So my Question is, are there in fact Different tabs for different style Banjo Playing and are Tabs really in fact, just a Guideline for a songs medley . Also, Is it common practice to change a few tabs to suit the sound of your type of banjo? Thanks for the help guys. DanO'
