Ellery Marshall does a terrific version of Thelonious Monk's "In Walked Bud."  Does anyone know if there is a tab for this tune somewhere?

Hey! I was wondering if anyone knows a good "God Bless the USA" arrangement. I can't seem to find one online and I really want to play it with my brother and sister. Take into mind I am kind of a 2nd stage beginner. Thanks! :)

Scruggs Classics - Looking For Quality Sources

After a very long layoff, I will be playing banjo again.  So, I will need to brush up on some of Earl Scrugg's classic banjo tunes.  I will appreciate reading the names of sources of quality tabulatures.   I would like several versions of each tune.  Being able to buy specific tunes would help.   I am familiar with most melodies, so recordings would not be a must.  I remember lots of the tunes I played, but know I will have problems with some tunes.

I looked for some of the tab books I used to use.  They don't seem to exist any longer.  One of my favorite books used to be a white spiral bound book with a dozen of Earl's most popular tunes.  It also had recordings - a cassette.  I had 4 or 5 books by Geoff Hohwald.  As you have probably guessed, I really haven't played in a very long time.  I will have to crawl around in and find out if those old books are still stored somewhere, but I doubt it.  Over time I used lots of different banjo books.

I've really fallen in love with this song, and really want to play it, I'm a seasoned guitar player but a novice banjo player and i'm almost willing to try to transcribe this song from watching videos and computer programs, but i'd really like it, if someone had the correct tabs.  thank you

Vic Jordan played this version of The Goldrush with Bill Monroe and it has become a Classic. I tabbed this out many years ago and tried to get his break as close as possible. I am sorry that Vic passed so early in his life--only in his 70s...Jack

How do you get Tabledit when you have Windows 10?  I get a response that it is not supported in Windows 10.

I think "Candyman" would make a wonderful banjo tune.  I have no gift for arrangement.  So I'll leave that thought here with the fond hope that someone might agree with me.

I've just been browsing Mike Iverson's Clawhammer banjo page. It is filled with lots of Clawhammer tabs to see. Mike sings along with many of these tabs. All of his tabs have chords included. Something I've wanted to see on BHO for some time...Jack  p.s. Yes, I will be making a donation to Mike's wonderful site...

Have started trying to play 5 string in the church music group (usual place was behind the mic as one of the singers). I came across this song by Dave Crowder and love it but I'm struggling to work out the roll patterns that are being played...

I know the chords are C, Am7, Gsus and F2, but that's as good as I get! On another video the banjo can be seen capo'd at the 5th.... any ideas???

vid can be found here:

thanks in advance!
